Abstract: | In this paper, two methods to retrieve the Land Surface Temperature (LST) from thermal infrared data supplied by band 10 and 11 of the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) onboard the Landsat 8 are compared. The first is mono window alorithm developed by QIn et al. and split window algorithm by Rozenstein et al. Finally, we present a comparison the distribution map of land surface temperature by mono window algorthm and split window algorithm in South Tangerang. The result shows a root mean square error (rmse) of 7.69` C when the split window algortihm is used. |
