Abstract: ORDIT (Ordering Dually in Triangles) is a ranking method based on multi-indicators. The purpose of this research is to study the ORDIT method and to implement this method on poverty or severity data in Jaba Island. The final result of this work is to obtain the ranking of severity in poverty of sub-districts in Java Island based on two indicators. These indicators are number of letters of the poor (surkin) and number health insurances for the poor (askeskin). All variables (indicators) are sub-district level aggregates. Rankings are computed based on ORDIT, implemented in R software. Rankings of the sub-districts based on two indicators are obtained. According to the results, the five most severe sub-districts are Kalisat, Mumbulsari, Bangsalsari, Sumberbaru, and Silo, which is located in Jember district. The least severe sub-districs are Banyuates and Robatal in Sampang district, Kademangan and Wonoasih in Probolinggo city.
